Gynaecomastia is a medical term which is made of Gynaeco-Female Like and Mastia-Breast.In lay man term it is also called as Man boobs or male breast. Some people also consider it as excess fat deposit in chest region.
Like woman,In man Nipple and brown-black coloresd areola is present but breast glands although being present are not developed because of male hormones. Man usually have Flat chest or muscular chest. When these glands enlarge in size or start developing because of any reason it takes the shape of breast as in female.This developed breast in man is called as Gynaecomastia.
What is the cause of Gynaecomastia?
In Most of the cases exact cause of Gynaecomastia or male Breast is not known so we call it as idiopathic.
